Detail

The features that can be included in a Digitally Published product are best demonstrated by downloading the Digitally Published e-brochure (see note 1) or view it in your browser.

Transparency - This feature can be used not only to produce the "book look" but for custom book & page shapes, books within books and inserts.

Multimedia - Sound & vision can either be embedded into a digital publication or streamed from a web server. (see note 2)

Pop up images - this function allows for a thumbnail image or text to be placed on a page of the publication, when the thumbnail or text is clicked on it reveals a larger image.

Editable text - great for producing diaries, planners etc.... (see note 1)

Editable images - great for producing photo albums, scrapbooks etc.... (see note 1)

Notes: - add pop up notes anywhere in an editable Digitally Published product, email them to a friend or colleague with the same product, import notes sent via email etc.... (see note 1)

Forms - Can be used for, data collection, the completed form can be submitted via an email attachment or script residing on a web server or adding quizzes or tests where a results page can be displayed if required. The only time the user needs an internet connection is when the form is complete, data can be inputted offline and then submitted.

Search - All Digitally Published products can have a search facility added, this works just like Google or Yahoo searching the content of the product.

Protect and Sell - Digital Rights Management - The amount of "free" pages the end user is able to view can be preset to any number. Upon reaching the end of the free page section the end user is prompted to pay for the rest of the publication, once payment is made through the payment gateway the rest of the digital publication is unlocked and the end user is free to view the rest of the publication on their own PC.

The end user can pass the e-publication for use on other PC's however each new PC the digital publication is relocated to will activate the DRM/PG and payment must be made in order for the end user to read the protected content. The DRM/PG feature is very flexible allowing subscriptions, discounts and upgrades to name a few via e-vouchers.

The finished digital publication can be posted on any web site there is no need for a sophisticated e-commerce solution as it is built into the publication. Using the DRM/PG solution is simple, the purchase process is similar to traditional browser-based shopping carts and uses 128 bit encryption with SSL for security.

Links - text and images can be assigned links to internal destinations such as another page or a function such as print book and also to external destinations such as web pages or web based scripts.

Page Transition Style & Speed - there are 6 different page transitions including 4 turning styles, a slide & wipe effect. There are also 4 speed settings, slow, medium, fast & superfly.
